Membrane Coating Systems
Restore and Protect an Aging Single-Ply Roof
A membrane coating system can extend the service life of an aging commercial roof without the disruption and expense of a complete tear-off. These restoration systems may be installed over eligible TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified-bitumen, and other approved roofing membranes.
Over time, exposure to sunlight, changing temperatures, standing water, and severe weather can cause a roof membrane to deteriorate. Seams, flashings, penetrations, and previously repaired areas may become vulnerable to water intrusion. A properly designed coating system restores protection by reinforcing these critical areas and creating a seamless, highly reflective exterior surface.
Before recommending restoration, Attar Roofing Solutions evaluates the existing membrane, drainage, attachment, adhesion, and possible subsurface moisture. Any necessary cleaning, repairs, seam reinforcement, and surface preparation are completed before the coating is applied according to the applicable manufacturer’s specifications.
Not every roof is a candidate for coating. Roofs with widespread trapped moisture, deteriorated insulation, poor attachment, incompatible materials, or significant structural and drainage problems may require a different solution. Our inspection process helps determine whether restoration is appropriate for your property.
Advantages
Seamless weather protection: Creates a continuous protective surface over an eligible existing membrane.
Improved energy efficiency: A highly reflective finish can reduce rooftop heat absorption and help lessen cooling demands.
Extended roof service life: Protects the existing roofing system and delays the need for complete replacement when conditions permit.
Reduced disruption: Restoration generally requires less removal, noise, debris, and interruption than a full tear-off.
Cost-effective preservation: Addresses aging surfaces and vulnerable details while retaining serviceable portions of the existing roof.
Renewable protection: Qualifying systems may be inspected and recoated again in the future, further extending their useful life.
Fabric-Reinforced Roofing Systems
Seamless Strength for Long-Term Roof Protection
A fabric-reinforced roofing system combines flexible reinforcement fabric with multiple layers of high-performance acrylic coating to create a durable, seamless membrane across an eligible existing roof.
During installation, the reinforcing fabric is fully embedded into the base coating, strengthening the entire roof surface rather than only treating individual seams and problem areas. Once the protective top coatings are applied, the finished system forms a lightweight yet resilient barrier designed to resist splitting, cracking, and movement—common causes of water intrusion on aging commercial roofs.
The bright, reflective finish also reduces rooftop heat absorption, which may lower cooling demands and improve indoor comfort. Because the system can often be installed over a properly prepared existing roof, it may extend the roof’s service life while reducing the waste, expense, and disruption associated with a complete tear-off.
Before recommending a fabric-reinforced system, Attar Roofing Solutions evaluates the existing roof assembly, drainage, adhesion, attachment, and possible subsurface moisture. Damaged materials and wet insulation must be addressed, and the roof must be properly cleaned, repaired, and prepared before installation.
Advantages
Fully reinforced protection: Embedded fabric strengthens the entire roofing surface and helps resist splitting and rupturing.
Wind and hail resistance: Approved assemblies provide enhanced protection against severe weather and impact.
Seamless weather barrier: The completed system creates a continuous membrane without conventional field seams.
Improved energy efficiency: A reflective exterior surface helps reduce heat absorption and rooftop temperatures.
Extended roof service life: Restores and protects an eligible existing roof without automatically requiring complete replacement.
Reduced disruption and waste: Installation may require less removal and produce less debris than a full tear-off.
Renewable protection: Qualifying systems can potentially be recoated in the future to extend their performance further.
Spray Polyurethane Foam Roofing
Seamless Insulation and Protection From the Top Down
A spray polyurethane foam roofing system combines insulation, air sealing, and weather protection into one continuous roofing assembly. Applied as a liquid, the foam expands and conforms to the roof surface, creating a lightweight, seamless layer that can cover irregular shapes and seal around penetrations, curbs, and rooftop equipment.
With an insulation value of approximately R-6.3 per inch, spray polyurethane foam helps reduce heat transfer and limit air infiltration through the roof assembly. This can improve indoor comfort while reducing the energy required to heat and cool the building.
The foam is installed at the thickness required for the approved roofing assembly, with a minimum system thickness of 1.5 inches. Additional foam may be applied where needed to improve drainage and direct water toward drains, scuppers, or gutters. Once installed, the foam is protected with a highly reflective elastomeric coating that shields it from ultraviolet exposure, moisture, and weathering.
Before recommending an SPF system, Attar Roofing Solutions evaluates the existing roof, structural deck, drainage, adhesion, and possible trapped moisture. Wet or deteriorated materials must be identified and removed, and unacceptable ponding or structural concerns must be corrected before installation.
Advantages
Seamless weather protection: Foam conforms to the roof and eliminates many of the seams and joints associated with conventional roofing systems.
High insulation value: Approximately R-6.3 per inch helps improve the building’s thermal performance.
Improved drainage: Foam can be shaped to establish positive slope and direct water toward drainage points.
Reduced air infiltration: The continuous foam layer helps seal gaps and reduce unwanted air movement through the roof assembly.
Lightweight installation: SPF adds insulation and protection without placing excessive weight on the existing structure.
Simplified repairs: Localized damage can often be cleaned, filled, recoated, and restored without replacing the entire roof.
Extended service life: With proper inspections, maintenance, and periodic recoating, an SPF roofing system can provide renewable long-term protection.
Reflective performance: The protective finish helps reduce rooftop heat absorption and may lower cooling demands.
Metal Roof Restoration
Renew Your Metal Roof Without Unnecessary Replacement
A properly installed metal roof can provide decades of service, but exposure to weather and repeated expansion and contraction can eventually create vulnerable areas. Loose or deteriorated fasteners, open seams, failing end laps, rust, aging sealants, and worn flashings can allow water to enter even when most of the metal panels remain structurally serviceable.
A metal roof restoration system addresses these conditions while preserving the usable portions of the existing roof. The process begins with a detailed inspection to evaluate the panels, fasteners, seams, penetrations, flashings, drainage, rust, and previous repairs. Severely damaged or corroded panels are replaced as needed, while loose fasteners and other deficiencies are corrected before the coating system is installed.
The roof is then thoroughly cleaned and properly prepared. Rusted areas receive the appropriate treatment, and fasteners, horizontal seams, end laps, penetrations, and other vulnerable details are reinforced and sealed. Standing-seam roofs receive specialized detailing that accommodates the natural movement of the metal panels. A highly reflective protective coating is then applied across the prepared roof to create a uniform, weather-resistant finish.
Because every metal roof is different, Attar Roofing Solutions determines restoration eligibility based on the condition of the panels, structural attachment, drainage, corrosion, existing coatings, and the roof’s ability to receive and hold the new system.
Advantages
Inhibits further corrosion: Proper cleaning, rust treatment, and protective coatings help slow continued deterioration.
Addresses common leak points: Fasteners, seams, end laps, penetrations, and flashings are repaired and reinforced before the finish coat is applied.
Seamless weather protection: The completed system creates a continuous protective surface over the prepared metal roof.
Improved energy efficiency: A reflective finish reduces rooftop heat absorption and may help lower cooling demands.
Enhanced appearance: Restores a clean, uniform finish to an aging or weathered metal roof.
Extended roof service life: Preserves structurally serviceable metal panels and delays the need for complete replacement.
Reduced disruption and waste: Restoration may avoid the expense, debris, and operational interruption associated with tearing off the entire roof.
Renewable protection: Qualifying systems can potentially be maintained and recoated in the future to extend their performance.
Single-Ply Membrane Roofing Systems
Complete TPO and PVC Protection for Commercial Buildings
Single-ply membrane roofing provides a durable, highly reflective exterior surface designed for long-term protection of commercial and industrial buildings. Attar Roofing Solutions installs premium thermoplastic roofing systems, including TPO and PVC, selected according to the building’s existing roof assembly, operations, environmental exposure, and long-term performance needs. A single-ply system may be installed as a retrofit over an eligible existing roof or as part of a complete tear-off and replacement. Depending on the project, the roofing assembly may include new polyisocyanurate insulation, tapered insulation for improved drainage, mechanically attached or adhered membrane, new flashing, edge metal, drains, scuppers, and other manufacturer-approved accessories. During installation, membrane sheets are carefully positioned and secured before the overlapping seams are fused together using specialized hot-air welding equipment. Penetrations, rooftop equipment, walls, drains, and perimeter transitions are then individually flashed to create one continuous roofing assembly. Every completed seam is inspected and probed to verify proper fusion. TPO provides excellent reflectivity, weather resistance, and dependable performance for a wide range of commercial properties. PVC offers additional resistance to grease, oils, chemicals, and industrial emissions, making it particularly well suited for restaurants, manufacturing facilities, and other demanding environments. Before recommending a system, Attar Roofing Solutions evaluates the roof deck, insulation, drainage, attachment requirements, interior conditions, and possible subsurface moisture. This allows the new roofing assembly to be designed around the actual needs of the building.Advantages

Thermal Roof Moisture Assessments
See Beyond the Surface of Your Roof
A roof can appear serviceable from the surface while moisture spreads through the insulation underneath. Traditional visual inspections identify open seams, damaged flashings, ponding, and other visible deficiencies—but they cannot always reveal what is happening within the roofing assembly.
A Thermal Roof Moisture Assessment uses advanced infrared imaging to identify temperature patterns consistent with moisture trapped beneath the roof membrane. Because wet roofing materials heat and cool differently than dry materials, thermal imaging allows us to locate and map suspected moisture-related anomalies that may otherwise remain hidden until interior leaks or widespread deterioration develop.
Attar Roofing Solutions combines aerial thermal imagery with corresponding high-resolution visual photographs to provide a clear, organized view of the roof. The completed report documents observed conditions, identifies areas requiring further investigation, and explains the recommended next steps in straightforward language.
Thermal imaging does not replace physical verification. When significant anomalies are identified, targeted core samples or other testing may confirm subsurface conditions. Together, these methods give property owners far greater insight into the actual health of their roofing system.
Your Roof Has a Story. Your Report Helps You Read It.
A thermal assessment gives property owners the information needed to make focused, financially responsible roofing decisions. Instead of relying only on visible leaks or replacing an entire roof without understanding its condition, the report can help determine whether the building may be a candidate for maintenance, localized repairs, restoration, partial replacement, or a complete roofing system.
Every flat or low-slope commercial roof can benefit from having a documented condition report. A baseline assessment creates a record that can be referenced over time, helping owners monitor changes, plan future expenses, evaluate reported leaks, and respond before hidden moisture causes more extensive damage.
